Painting Backstory:

I painted this one from a photo I took in Fort Lauderdale while I was on vacation with my boyfriend, who is now my husband. I could sit and watch the waves for hours, especially during sunset. There’s something about the colors and the movement that makes me feel really connected to the earth and kind of taps into that mermaid part of me. This painting was just my way of holding onto that peaceful moment.
