Painting Backstory:

I painted this in 2020 during the early stages of taking my art more seriously on a professional level. It was around the time I started painting more consistently and began thinking about offering prints and sharing my work in a real way. I had taken a spontaneous road trip to Hilton Head because I needed a mental reset, and I ended up sitting on the sand, listening to the ocean, and painting these wildflowers right in front of me. This piece reminds me of that turning point where I started trusting my creativity again.
