Painting Backstory:

Jenna’s Mountains was originally painted as a commission for someone who started out as a client and became a dear friend. The inspiration came from trips she took with her partner, with mountains and yellow flowers being some of their favorite things. Since then, that partner has become her husband, and together they now have a baby.

This piece feels especially meaningful to me because I’ve had the honor of photographing their engagement, their wedding, and their newborn. What began as a single painting turned into years of shared milestones and memories. This artwork represents that full-circle journey and the way art has a way of weaving itself into real life.
