Painting Backstory:
This painting was inspired by a photo I took while on vacation with my boyfriend at the time. We spotted these two birds sitting together and I jokingly said, “Look, it’s us. Did you know most birds mate for life?” Two days later, he proposed.
This piece is my way of holding onto that moment and the feeling of realizing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be, even before you know it. Because it’s so personal, I’m keeping the original, but I’m excited to share it as an art print.
